Lions are majestic big cats known as the "kings of the jungle," although they primarily live in savannas and grasslands of Africa and a small population in India. These powerful predators are easily recognized by their tawny coats and the males' impressive manes. Lions are social animals, living in prides that can include up to three males, a dozen or more females, and their young. They are skilled hunters, often working together to take down large prey like zebras and buffaloes.
Despite their strength, lions face threats from habitat loss and human-wildlife conflict, making conservation efforts crucial for their survival.
This is a print of my original work that was created with ink and watercolours in 2022.
