Cheetahs are the world's fastest land animals, capable of reaching incredible speeds up to 70 miles per hour. Found in Africa and parts of Asia, they are easily recognized by their sleek bodies, distinctive spotted coats, and the unique "tear marks" that streak down their faces. Unlike lions or tigers, cheetahs can purr like house cats but can't roar, making their vocalizations soft and gentle.
Despite being amazing hunters, cheetahs are facing challenges like habitat loss and human conflict, which are causing their numbers to drop. It's important to support conservation efforts to keep these amazing animals safe.
This is a print of my original work that was created with ink and watercolours in 2022.
