Grey-Green Beach Pebble Ring
The grey-green beach pebble in this handmade sterling silver ring has been naturally tumbled by the Pacific Ocean waves on the shores of Wallabi Point Beach, NSW. It is bezel set in fine and sterling silver and is a Size O/ 7 1/2. Definitely one of a kind. The ring band is 2mm round wire in sterling silver. The stone is approximately 2.2cm x 1.2cm
I often pick up a pebble to hold in my hand while I walk along the beach and contemplate its origins. I wonder: Which mountain did it break off? How long did it take to wash down our rivers to land on the beach and gently be tumbled by the ocean. Every stone I work with no matter how precious or earthy has a story - a Tumbled Pebble - just like you and me.
