These handmade sterling silver and amethyst earrings are simply gorgeous. I have set these beautiful amethyst cabochons into fine silver bezels and soldered them onto a textured sterling bar creating a simple yet classic one of a kind drop earring. These earrings swing beautifully to give flashes of purple and silver - a magical combination. The earrings measure approximately 4cm from the top of the handmade ear wire to the base of the dangle.
Amethyst is the birthstone for February. It is thought to evoke feelings of calmness and serenity to those who wear it.

Care Instructions: sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time. Wipe over jewellery with a soft cloth after wearing to remove body oils and cosmetics (use gentle dish liquid and a soft toothbrush if it gets very oily), and avoid wearing in chlorinated or salt water. Store in a sealed container. Amethyst has a Moh's harness of 7 making it a more durable gem, but take care to avoid strong abrasives and knocks. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
The earrings will be packaged in a quality, reusable cotton canvas drawstring bag bearing The Tumbled Pebble logo and will be nestled in tissue paper for safe shipping.
