This lampshade is a truly unique work of art.
The pure wool fabric is hand ecoprinted by me using eucalyptus leaves to obtain the fabulous golden colour and design.
The ecoprinting process itself takes four hours of boiling the rolled fabric in eucalyptus tannins and water. The colours are extracted naturally in my ecoprinting process and I don't use any powdered metal mordants in any of my products.
The fabric is washed, ironed and attached to the lampshade.
The top and bottom edges are tucked in with a rolled hem for a lovely neat finish.
Height is 15.5cm, diameter is 20cm, in a drum style shade.
White inside to reflect the light.
Base and light bulb are not included and are shown for display purposes.
