This silk scarf is hand eco printed with eucalyptus leaves.
Vibrant red and pink shades showing stunning clear leaf and gumnut definition.
90cm x 90cm square 100% silk with hand rolled hem.
The softness of the silk is beautiful and can be worn all year round.

The eco-printing process I use involves wrapping the leaves around the fabric, tying tightly and boiling for many hours. I use a piece of salvaged metal in the boil, which also gives colour and interest to the finished result. I don't use any chemical or powdered mordants in any of my products. The scarves are colourfast and can be washed by hand with a pure soap.
