Pure wool scarf eco printed eucalyptus

• 100% pure fine Australian merino wool scarf.
• Hand eco printed with round eucalyptus leaves, gumnuts and stems, capturing nature perfectly.
• The finished colours given by the leaves are tones of bright red, orange and with softer shades over the scarf.
• Lovely twisted fringe tassels on both ends.
• Soft and light but warm, just gorgeous.

• The ecoprinting process I use involves wrapping the leaves around the fabric, tying tightly and boiling for four hours. I use a piece of salvaged iron in the boil, which also gives colour and interest to the finished result. No chemical or powdered mordants are used in any of my products. The scarves are colourfast and can be washed by hand with a pure soap and ironed gently on the wool setting.
