This unique quilt features a bold printed panel showing traditional patchwork designs. It is suitable for a lap quilt or as a play or change mat. It is not too wide to be used in a wheelchair. It could be draped over an armchair for decoration.
I wanted to highlight the designs, so having added a border I quilted each design separately, highlighting the different features of each one. This specialised quilting can be seen on the back. The border is mottled purple and so is the back.
Materials: The quilt is made of cotton, including the fabric, wadding and threads. It will become more softer and cosy with washing. The binding, which is narrow, is mottled purple, as is the back. The quilt can be cleaned in a washing machine on cold or warm, and dried in a dryer or in the shade. It has already been washed.
