As a retired Science teacher I am continuing to experiment, but with fabrics and paints. Each item I sell is unique, and the successful outcome of an experiment, a new technique. All the designs are mine, except where noted.

I offer free shipping on individual items under $70 (or combinations of these).The price of every item I sell for less than $100 is donated to WIRES (the NSW wildlife rescue organisation) minus postage. However, items priced at $100 or more, the donation will be 50% as the price represents both the cost of materials and my time.

'The Kindly Tortle' is a reference to my Dungeons & Dragons persona Quee - think of a ninja turtle, but more scaly and without a mask. He is cheerful and kindly, and a better person than I am. The banner for this page, with the illustration of Quee, was created by David C. Simon, my son.

I live in Dharug Country, and I recognise that the Dharug people lived in and knew this country long before the invasion by Europeans.
