These wooden bangles are a gorgeous organic statement finish to your outfit, whether you are feeling a bit bohemian, a little bit hippy, or you feel like dressing up!
NOTE: Price listed is for 1 bangle only :)
Inside diameter is approximately 62mm or 67mm, please choose from the variants for your size. If you need a bigger or smaller size please contact me directly.
I start with drilling a hole in some timber, in the past I have used Western Red Cedar, Camphor Laurel and Mango for these (see pics attached). Current stock is reclaimed Kwila (merbau), reclaimed Aussie hardwood floorboards and decking boards, and Brushbox; but feel free to contact me if you prefer a different timber.
These are faceted with various tools and sandpapers before sanding so they sit smooth on your arm, and finally finishing with my lush spoon butter, before buffing with a cloth. They range in width and thickness. Again let me know if you have a preference. A thin wooden bangle would be classed as between 1cm-1.5cm wide, a thicker one would be 1.5cm-2.5cm. Thickness varies as well as overall design. Let me know if you have a particular preference and I’ll do my best to accommodate!
Care for your bangles: Wipe with warm damp cloth when needed to remove dust. Never place in the dishwasher. Dishwasher = sadness :( From time to time you can re-sand with a light grade sandpaper (for example 320 grit), and re-oil using a food safe and non-oxidising oil (for example food grade mineral oil, grapeseed oil, coconut oil, or my spoon butter!).
