Spoon Gal

I make beautiful, functional objects using reclaimed and sustainable timbers from Australia and overseas, handcrafted on gorgeous Bundjalung country in Northern NSW.  What started as an obsession carving spoons (hence the moniker Spoon Gal) quickly became an exercise in figuring out what to make with the offcuts!  In doing so, lots of new products emerged, so much so that much of my time is spent *not* making spoons these days :D

Please note - all items are handmade by me and therefore slight variations in product may occur due to the nature and variability of timber. Care Instructions:

All @spoon.gal products are designed and handmade with love by me, in the Byron Shire on beautiful Bundjalung country, using recycled and sustainable timbers :) Hand wash your timber item with mild detergent and warm water when needed. Do not place in dishwasher! Dishwasher = sadness :( All items have been finished with either food grade mineral oil, or a mix of my spoon butter (bees wax + coconut oil), or my vegan spoon butter (cacao butter + coconut oil). Lightly sand with 240-320 grit sandpaper and re-oil every 6 months, or as needed.

  • Ready to ship items will be shipped within 1-3 business days
  • Made to order or custom orders will be shipped within 10 business days (or as arranged)
  • Default shipping is Standard Parcel post with tracking (unless otherwise selected at the time of purchase)
  • Items are carefully & securely packaged and I use recycled packaging wherever possible.
  • Tracking details will be provided at the time of shipping. This allows both parties to track the parcel and ensure it gets to you. It is the buyer's responsibility to provide accurate shipping details at the time of purchase.

Refund & Exchange policy

I want you to be happy with your purchase, but if something isn't right or you change your mind please contact me first within 7 days. If a refund or exchange is arranged the item will need to be returned in its original condition within 7 days for a full refund less shipping. Return shipping is the buyers responsibility.

  • Payment is required at the time of order.
  • Turn-around time is 10 days unless stated otherwise on product listing.
