These earrings are made from recycled copper and enamel.
The copper pieces are hand cut and put through a tool that forms corrugated lines in the metal. Once this process is achieved I enamel the back with opaque black. Once this is fired and cooled I apply a golden clear enamel and fired in my kiln until fused to the copper base and becomes a golden colour.
once cooled the edges are filed to remove fire scale a,d buffed until smooth and shiny.
Each earrings is accompanied by a wood grain Jasper gemstone bead.
Each enamel component measures 2cm x 2cm
The bead is 8mm
The total drop of the earring from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the enamel component is 4.5cm in length
*The ear hooks are made from Argentium silver
*Argentium silver is hypoallergenic and low tarnish
*Argentium is certified 100% recycled.
