Hand cut oblong shaped copper pieces that are enamelled with a blue base. Once fired and cooled I’ve applied white liquid enamel and let it dry. Before firing I scratch the dots into the white powder to make a ‘cell’. This is called sgraffito. This layer is then fired. The next step is to apply the colours. This process is called wet packing. The enamel powder is applied wet with a very small brush. I’ve dried its fired. This process is repeated until the colour fires even and bright.
Each earring measures 4cm long and 1cm wide
