I found this gorgeous Italian Renaissance-style canvas upholstery fabric as a whole piece in my local op shop. It is a lovely rich cream with a sepia brown coloured design of an urn filled with old roses and fruit.
I have made it into a crossbody bag great for everyday use or for a special occasion.
It is a versatile size and shape, the zip across the top opens to reveal a roomy interior big enough to carry all your essentials and there is a zipped pocket across the front for smaller items. It is lined with creamy calico.
The bag hardware is antique brass coloured and the zips are brown.
The long strap has a slide that makes it adjustable so that you can sit it in the most comfortable position for you.
Size: approx 29cm across x 24cm high x 5cm across the bottom front to back.
