Classic styling in classic colours and pattern. This lovely bag has a gorgeous vintage-inspired shape. The grey Prince of Wales check was originally cut from a business skirt, it has fine lines in navy and powder blue on the grey. The base is made from navy upholstery fabric very a very small checked texture given to me by a friend and is a remnant from an upholstery business.
The asymmetrical flap closes with a magnetic snap. The button showcased on the front is a vintage navy coat button.
I have lined it with navy fabric with a dandelion print over it cut from a blouse. There is a simple double slip pocket on the inside front wall.
Size: 33cm across the bottom and 29cm across the top. 26cm high and 7cm front to back across the bottom. The long adjustable strap (up to 130cm long) means that you can wear the bag at whatever height best suits you.
This bag was made using the Sedgeford Bag pattern by Charlie's Aunt Sewing Patterns designed by Emma Brennan.
