Slow Stitch Embellishing Kit - Summer Flowers

My Slow Stitch Embellishing Kits are carefully selected pieces of fabric from my ever-growing fabric stash. The piece may be an up-cycled upholstery fabric or a piece of vintage cotton, they all will, however, be robust enough to handle lots of stitches. These particular kits don’t come with instructions, as its more about tapping into your creative juices and seeing what happens with a needle and thread. The flowers, leaves and marks on your fabric piece will lead the way.
There's something wonderfully meditative about stitching that calms the mind and relaxes the body.
Some embroidery experience would be beneficial, but it is not necessary.
In this pack you will receive: - 1 x the exact piece of fabric in the photo, measuring 32cm x 32cm - 1 x beechwood embroidery hoop 15.5cm diameter - a small pair of embroidery scissors - 10 x embroidery threads in colours to suit your fabric piece - 2 x needles - a little lace or wool (depending on your kit) for couch stitching or embellishing - a little bag of beads - a piece of calico to practice stitches - the last two pictures are my own stitched pieces, as a little example of slow stitching.
Feel free to add any other embellishments to your stitching - threads, beads, buttons, lace.
