The rose part was made by melting clean sterling silver offcuts and pressing the silver into an impression die - the tool itself is a work of art as the original hub was carved by a master carver! It is accompanied by a dreamy pink rose quartz, set in a delicately textured bezel. The pendant has been given a touch of patina to make the details pop. It comes ready to wear on a sterling silver chain with a handmade hook clasp.

It is a natural property of sterling silver to acquire patina over time. How fast this happens depends on many environmental factors. To ensure your jewellery looks its best for year to come, put it on last after applying all cosmetic products and perfumes, and take it off first before heading into shower. Best to take off jewellery when engaging in strenuous exercise, bathing/swimming and particularly hot tub, sleeping. Store jewellery after cleaning in a dry place away from dust, excess humidity and direct sunlight - prolonged exposure may cause some stones to fade over time. Best keeping individual items in a protective pouch to prevent scratches.
