It is made from scratch in sunny Brisbane - even though I may make similar items they will never be identical due to the handmade process. It is a natural property of sterling silver to acquire patina over time. How fast this happens depends on many factors, including how often and where the item is worn, air humidity and pollution etc. We strongly recommend storing jewellery away from direct sun as some stones may fade over time with too much exposure, protect it from humidity and dust. Best store in a pouch or a bag to protect the item from scratching. Note that some jewellery boxes include acidic glue that speeds up tarnishing. Your item can be refreshed by simple polishing with a jewellery cleaning cloth.
