Natural Black Tourmaline in Quartz and Sterling Silver Pendant ~ handcrafted by Karina and Mike of Karmic Star
Tourmalinated Quartz is a beautiful and fascinating combination of Black Tourmaline, a stone of protection and purification, and Clear Quartz, a powerful amplifier of energy – harmonising the polarities of light and dark, yin and yang. This particular piece has generous chunks of Black Tourmaline scattered amongst crackled Quartz that has an intriguing orange Sunstone-like tint in places, and tiny secret rainbows when you get it in the right light.
Mike has carefully shaped and polished this special stone from rough rock to the shiny circular cabochon you see here. Then it was over to me to embrace it with Australian made, ethically-sourced 925 Sterling Silver wire, which I have oxidised and polished to complete this magickal treasure.
