Natural Tiger Eye and Sterling Silver Pendant ~ handcrafted by Karina and Mike of Karmic Star

Golden brown and glowing, the chatoyancy of Tiger Eye is so incredibly mesmerising as it seems to move when you turn it in the light. Traditionally protective against the evil eye, Tiger Eye is said to reflect ill-will back to its source. It is also thought to be useful in helping you overcome fear of failure when offering your creative gifts to the world.

A much-revered stone, it has been used by many different peoples throughout history : Roman soldiers carried Tiger Eye for bravery in battle; the ancient Egyptians believed that the stone held the energies of sun and earth combined.

Mike has carefully shaped and polished this rich caramel-coloured beauty from rough rock to the shiny cabochon you see here. Then it was my turn to embrace it with Australian-made, ethically sourced 925 Sterling Silver, which I have oxidised and polished, to complete this treasure that would suit anyone who loves earthy tones.
