Each little leaf shape is the silver sheet that is left when I make my Crescent Moon Earrings, and as I dislike waste, I was inspired to make these playful double-drop earrings!
They begin as silver sheet which I hammer to create the texture, then I mark and saw out the shapes by hand. I then file them to even out their size, sand the edges smooth, punch the little holes to connect them with wire, and top them with handcrafted hooks.
All the metal is Australian-made ethically sourced 925 Sterling Silver, which I oxidise and polish to give them depth and character.
The Earrings pictured here are the ones you will receive, and they measure 5.1cm long by approximately 8-9mm wide.
