Hi! I'm Ren; the Founder, Owner and Creator of The Graceful Moon.
I have always had a passion for expressing my creativity, whether that be through music, dance, craft or art.
Having spent 22 years in the Retail space involved with Management, Merchandising and Administration, this provided me with a great knowledge base for business, customer service and product quality.
During that time I spent 8 years working exclusively with Candles, Home Fragrance and Home Décor items.
I then ventured into the Corporate world which provided me with a Cert IV in Business Administration, Finance, Event Management/PR, and gave me the breathing space to showcase my creativity by creating this brand.
The Graceful Moon was always in the works throughout my life, and took many, many, MANY twists and turns to find its starting point.
She will continue to grow, expand and evolve as we move forward.
I have a passion for supporting others (and myself) on their Mental Health journey and the catalyst for going public with The Graceful Moon was during a time of grief under a full moon in a pink-dusk sky. Now you know how I got the name!
I create products that allows our clients to practice Mindfulness and Self-Gratitude. Learning Yoga, Meditation, Crystal work, going through a LOT of Therapy + other workshops, I found peace, healing and growth through my own challenges. Our Mindset Range was created to be part of our toolkit to help empower our mindsets during our day-to-day lives. We added a touch of that 'Modern Spirituality' through crystals and, Moon phases etc) to enhance the benefits of the fragrances.

PRODUCT CARE:
Candle, Melt, Pillar & Refill Ranges
We advise that all our flammable products come with a warning label.
Please read these carefully and follow instructions before use.
The Graceful Moon takes no responsibility for misuse of any products resulting to injury or harm.
Candles have a memory, where you burn them the first time is where they will burn each time.
Do no exceed 4hrs of continual burning.
Candle tins will get hot, please place on a heat proof base.
Avoid drafts and store candles out of direct sunlight in a cool place.
Keep all products out of reach of children.
Wicks are to be trimmed regularly between 0.5cm - 1cm.
Candles can change colour over time depending on environment, sun exposure and oil types.
Please remove ALL botanicals, Melts and decorations before burning your candles.
Do not eat the infusions.
We use Soy Wax and Coconut Wax blends in our products with Cotton or environmentally sourced Wood Wicks in our candles.
Our Wood wicks will have a crackle sound and may dim and reignite on their own. Please be sure that your candle is extinguished properly when not in use. Wood wicks will change the colour of the wax and may cause bubbling. This is a normal feature
Avoid blowing your candle out, you can by dedicated Snuffers to extinguish your candle. This is the safest option.
Melts are made of Soy Wax & Coconut Soy Wax blends and are infused with dried organically sourced herbs, florals, spices and crystals. They can be used in electric or candle-lit wax burners. Please break down melts to fit your size wax burner. Packaging size cubes are a guide only.
Scents in all products are as described to the best of our ability and may change over time, or depending on the environment. This is not a fault with the product. Products with Vanillin may change colour over time.
All fragrances are Phthalates free.
Our Pillars are designed to tunnel with the wick creating its on shell/casing.
As with all candles, they have a memory. Place all pillars on a protective base as wax will leak and holes can be formed which can cause damage to furniture and floors.
If you place a pillar inside glassware, there should be a minimum of 3-5cm gap around the candle to allow for air and heating. This is why glassware can explode.
Refills are sent with the wax wrapped for protection. Please remove the old wick, add boiling water to your jar, let it sit to remove old wax and clean your old jar before adding refill in.
Tealight Ranges
Tealights come in recyclable cups. Wax needs to be removed with warm soapy water.
Tealights can be stored in the fridge/freezer in a paper bag or airtight container. This prevents moisture and also increases the burning time of each tealight.
Room Sprays, Car & Room Diffuser Ranges
Our Reed Diffusers are created with Eco Solvent Bases. Our reed bottles will not be 100% full as they need room for air. Our reed sticks are made from sustainable fibers and large ones can be washed and reused (scent from previous oil may linger).
Please place reeds on a safe base as it contains oils which may cause damage to other surfaces.
Our Room Spray\'s are made with an Eco Solvent Base which is clear in colour. The colour of the fragrance changes the oil colour.
Room Spray\'s are designed to be sprayed in the air and not directly on furniture, linen, clothing or skin. Spray on a 45 degree angle facing up away from walls etc. Please place Room Spray bottles on a safe base as it contains oils which may cause damage to other surfaces.
Crystal & Herb Products
Crystals used in our products come in the form of sand, pieces or chips.
Crystals can lead to discolouration of wax overtime. The crystal chips and pieces, can be removed, wiped down with a warm cloth (do not soak) and kept for further use.
Herbs are organically sourced or grown in our garden and dried to be used in our products.
Bath, Balm, Body Rollers & Tea Products
Our bath & balm products contain natural carrier oils and all ingredients are stated in the box descriptions. These are hand made & poured.
Tea\'s and Hot Chocolate products are premixed or curated. They are organic and come with a best before date. They also may contain traces of nuts.
We encourage customers to read and check ingredients prior to purchase regarding allergies or sensitivities.
Our Body Rollers are made with a Vegan Coconut base and have the directed amount of fragrance as per instructions. Please patch-test before use.
Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
We do not offer an exchange or refund on any of our items for change of mind.
Individual items inside the TGM Intention boxes cannot be refunded, however we can exchange the individual items where quality issues are concerned.
Should any quality issues with your items, please contact us to provide feedback to discuss further.
