Simple yet stylish, this hand-crafted spiral ear cuff is fitted simply using manual compression. It comes in several finishes and can be worn on its own, or to complement a variety of other accessories.
The spiral motif has appeared in ancient art around the world for millennia - a history that adds layers of meaning to these.

Size/Fit:
The standard 15mm diameter ear cuff fits most securely on the upper rim/helix of the ear, where it can be compressed around the cartilage.
The 12mm and 9mm cuffs use a lighter gauge wire, and so are a little easier to manipulate and may fit well to the ear lobe also. While the compression they offer is a little less firm than the 15mm cuff, you may prefer their smaller size and finer lines.

Hypoallergenic?: the silver and bright copper ear cuffs have a copper core and clear or fine silver coated finish that would be considered hypoallergenic. However, the other coloured coatings might not be hypoallergenic. Each person should consider their own individual skin sensititivies.
NOTE: This ear cuff is not a medical device and has not been designed specifically to reduce or prevent keloid scar development. However it may be worn over keloid scar tissue and the pressure adjusted for comfort and compression. Compression may assist in slowing keloid growth.

^A note on tarnishing: pH levels in skin can affect silver and copper. While the tarnish-resistant coating helps, proper care—keeping jewellery dry and avoiding perfumes or detergents—can prolong its shine.
