Treasure Urns are lovingly created using a vintage plaster mould and liquid clay called slip. This one is glazed with a clear gloss inside and out. The clay is white. An extra firing is then required to permanently melt the cat decal into the glaze.
This size urn is perfect for any cat with a volume of 400mls, height of 13cms and depth of 11 cms.
As this is a handcrafted pottery item made from clay and fired a minimum of 3 times in my gas and electric kilns, small imperfections like dark specs or unevenness in the glaze are embraced as part of the uniqueness of each piece.
