These gorgeous bookmarks are the perfect teacher or secret Santa gift and have been created with yarn which I have spun by hand on my Majacraft 'Rose' spinning wheel. They started out as a pile of Merino & Corriedale wool, and have been; spun, plied, skeined, washed, wound into balls, and then crocheted slowly to create these bookmarks.
The beautiful simple bookmarks are created with a crocheted handspun flower and a lovely rustic cotton plait. They are environmentally friendly, using remnant yarn from my other projects, and are part of my small contribution towards reducing textile waste. The plait simply lays inside the pages of your book while the flower hangs over the front to keep your place secure whilst looking super sweet.
The total length is approximately 30cm and the flowers are approximately 5cm in diameter.
