Billy Buttons Edition of 25 - Linoprint and Watercolour

"Pycnosorus is a genus of six species of plants in the family Asteraceae. Commonly known as billy buttons or drumsticks, they are annual or perennial herbs or small shrubs with a cylindrical to spherical head of up to 200 daisy-like "flowers".

I have created the print by hand-carving a piece of lino, rolling ink onto the linocut and hand-printing the print onto the watercolour paper.

I have then painted the linoprint with lightfast watercolours.

Ink: Caligo Safe Wash - Oil-based and lightfast pigment
Watercolour: Dr PH Martins - Hydrus watercolours
Paper: 300gsm Watercolour Paper - Acid free
Paper size: Height 260mm x Width 210mm
Image size: 150mm x 150mm

Your hand-signed, hand-painted edition print will be one of only "25" printed, each one slightly different which makes it unique.Price includes standard postage within AustraliaThe print is unmounted and unframed.

The image can be framed as is within a window mount.
