My name is Ferenc, a Hungarian born Australian Cutler. I am the owner and creative mind behind Paprika Knives.

Knives always fascinated me. 

The versatility, functionality of one of mankind's oldest tool is enormous. Show me another tool that exists in so many different forms, unique to each geographic region, task at hand and lends itself to so much artistic input from the artisan.

I hand make all my knives with "one at a time" attention.

Old fashioned craftmanship and lasting quality in my approach, with aesthetic, simplicity, in form and function in mind. 

I strive to design and create the best unique and individual knives that I can. Knives that my customers are proud to own, gift and use.

 I make a variety of cutting tools, and I enjoy the majority of my project.
But I get the most satisfaction out of crafting culinary knives and woodworking tools. They seem to be far apart on the spectrum of knives. But, investing my skills and artistic input into a piece, then passing it on, for it to enable another human being, to creat something wonderful is just a great notion to me.
Being able to contribute to someone else's creative pursuit is inspiring.
