Sometimes simple works best!
I used a flat solid sterling silver wire to make a long bail for this blue / green turquoise donut. The size of the loop gives you flexibility on what to wear it with from chains or cords you already have.
The turquoise is stabilised (common treatment for turquoise to make it more suitable for jewellery use) and has some really nice chunky blue and green chunky colour patches.
- Outer diametre about 25mm
- Thickness about 4mm
- Sterling silver wire bail is 1.8mm wide x 1mm thick x 20mm long
The gap between the 2 sides of the bail is about 4mm which allow a wide variety of chains or cords to be threaded through and hang the pendant from.
I use recycled sterling silver and source ethical material from local suppliers to hand make all my jewellery.
