Tam- Carnelian disc

Since I keep on making this model with a variety of different beads and pearls I decided it was time to give it a name! So... this is Tam. Named after one of my favourite beaches to go for a walk but it also fits with the woman that dances through life to the rhythm of her own drum (or Tamtam! see what I did there? ;) )

Each earrings are made to order with a pair of 16mm carnelian disc. Each disc is 4.5mm thick and threaded on a recycled Sterling Silver wire. They drop 5.2cm from the centre of the curved hook to the bottom ball of the sterling silver wire. This is my contemporary take of the old classic drop earrings. The carnelians has natural colour lines / bands which will vary from one gem to the next. Each pair is made with the closest matching colour and pattern I can find and may be slightly different than on the photo.

I am proud to make jewellery with recycled sterling silver manufactured right here in Sydney. All my gemstones come from legitimate suppliers based in Australia and are recut and re-polished or touched up in the studio.
