This necklace is so versatile, can be worn in at least 3 different ways, exposing the red, hand embroidered flowers on linen as one option. For option two, the necklace can be reversed, exposing the pretty Petit Pan reproduction vintage aqua florals or option 3, you could alternate the disks to show a mixture of the embroidered flowers and the reproduction vintage aqua florals.
The beautifully hand-embroidered red flowers on linen were rescued from a piece of vintage linen doily.
The reverse reproduction vintage aqua floral is a pretty, but modern Petit Pan fabric that just complimented the piece so well, I decided to go with it.
The beads have all been rescued from vintage broken jewellery and the chain has been created from vintage variagated Coats mercer crochet cotton.
I have also used this vintage crochet cotton to work a delicate little, needlewoven lace trim around the largest, centre pendant.
Necklace measures approx 80cm long from bead closure to crochet loop closure.
