These beautiful hand made Smudge Fans can also be used as Talking Sticks for those that are holders of Circles and gatherings and you like to keep the circle flowing with the Talking Stick. As a Smudge Fan, these distribute the sacred smoke far and wide as well as being very stylish on your Altar.
The process of creating these sticks is one that I hold dear. Finding suitable sticks in nature (always asking) never taking. These sticks lay in waiting and are keen for a second life. I cut them to length, sand them smooth, clean them and coat them in clear estapol. I then drill out holes top and bottom. One for a Crystal and One for the Feathers. I also like to add more gemstones or embellishments of some kind that can include twine or ribbon and other bits and bobs. Each piece is truly unique. All you need do is pick the one that calls to you and you will have a friend for life.

The feathers on this one are a mix of Pheasant, Crow, Wedge-tail Eagle & duck. Gemstones are Jade near feathers and Citrine point on the bottom.
