Small ornamental basket in saffron and green

I have woven this lovely, unique basket using the Mariposa stitch, a traditional south American weaving technique.

The deep saffron yellow coloured raffia was hand dyed with turmeric.

This would be a beautiful centrepiece, or styled anywhere in your home. On a small table with flowers perhaps.

A one of a kind hand made piece of woven art.

It measures 15.5cm at it's widest points, and 4cm deep.
