These dainty earrings are made from real flowers, pressed and set in resin by me. The flowers are from the very romantic cottage plant, Queen Anne's Lace which is normally a white flower. I coloured these teal by standing the stem in food colouring. I hope you love them as much as I do!
They are very thin and extremely light to wear. They hang 4.5cm from the earhole and are 1.3cm wide. They are surrounded by an arch shaped golden frame. The hooks are nickel-free, so perfect for those with sensitive ears.
Set in transparent resin, when wearing them the flowers seem to be hanging in mid air.
Did you know the delicate flowers of Queen Anne's Lace resemble the shape of an umbrella or bird's nest? This is likely why it is seen as a symbol of sanctuary and protection.
Everlasting flowers!
