This beautiful piece was individually handmade in my Brisbane studio. The organic, round shape is formed by rolling a slab of clay that is then moulded by hand using a custom plaster form.
It features stunning, food-safe glazes which when poured and swirled in the bowl has created a dramatic contrast of rich crimson red and deep charcoal black flowing and overlapping together, broken up by a bold, bright splash of white. I've left the lightly speckled, natural Australian clay visible on the base as a beautiful contrast.
