Each pair of earrings in this range has been hand-created, hand-coloured with underglazes and glazes, and put through 2 firings to stoneware, around 1280°C. Each earring weighs 5 grams. They are very light and can be worn comfortably for many hours, without any drag or discomfort on the ears, and yet elegant decorative statement earrings, approx 55mm drop.
As hand-made pieces, they have unique marks in the clay and glaze which occur naturally during the firing processes. Makers mark appears on the reverse of each earring. In some instances, earrings can be worn on reverse side, creating the potential for 2 pairs of earrings in the one pair.
