Hand dyed fabrics combined with upcycled denim is a match made in heaven! The sturdy and worn look of the denim gets immediately elevated with the organic and bright colours of all the differently dyed fabrics.
For this bag I have unpicked a lot of hems and side seams to isolate interesting looking patches. I then added colourful triangles in random sizes to create this uplifting patchwork panel. For the back of the bag I used a jeans back pocket and added my own leather label. Inside there is another pocket for keys and smaller items, adorned with a little stenciled motif (couldn't help myself ;D)
The whole bag is padded with cotton wadding to give it body and protect your belongings.
The detachable shoulder strap has a slider so you can adjust the length to your needs. You can sling the bag across your body or hang it off your shoulder. A magnetic clasp keeps everything secure.
This bag is great for every day use. It easily fits your wallet, phone, glasses and a fold up shopping bag.
