This gorgeous hand-forged sterling silver enso pendant is set with a beautiful green 4mm moissanite (synthetic) and the front has a satiny brushed finish. It began as one 7cm piece of 3mm square wire and has been forged in this open enso circle. One brush stroke of silver shaped with fire, metal and my energy! Hand made and perfectly imperfect. Included is a quality jeweller's neoprene necklace - approx 40-42 cm.
ENSO has two meaning and both reflect flow and breath, spirit and the source of life - this pendant is an amalgamation of these.
Enso is a Japanese word meaning circle, literally circle of togetherness and isa symbol of absolute enlightenment. It is often drawn in one brush stroke of ink with an opening suggesting that imperfection is an inherent part of existence. It also represents the flow of our spirit in and out of the circle of emptiness, allowing it to breathe.
Also, ENSO or El Nino Southern Oscillation index is the most important climate phenomena on Earth due to its ability to change the global atmospheric circulation - wind and rainfall patterns, weather patterns and ocean temperatures.
Enso pendants can be made to order with a brushed or polished finish. I usually use green or blue stones to represent or watery, life giving planet. However contact me if you would like a different stone than pictured or a high polish finish. Each pendant will be an entirely unique brush stroke in silver - it will begin as a 7cm piece of 3mm square wire and depending on how I forge the piece, the enso may appear more closed or a slightly different sized circle.
