This supersoft unisex cowl is hand crocheted using 100% Australian alpaca yarn in all natural 'Grey Storm' from Adagio Mills. The pattern is by Elizabeth Castle from www.castlehandmade.com.au. Alpaca yarn is lovely and cosy and will keep you warm all through winter. The design of this cowl makes it perfect to wear under a coat without adding bulk or on its own as a stunning accessory.
The cowl is adorned with a simple wooden Spindle & Spool button making it an eco-conscious option, as both the fibres and button are naturally sustainable and compostable, ensuring that this handcrafted item can return to the earth after many cherished years, rather than adding to the enormous problem of textile waste produced by the mass made fashion industry.
Materials: 100% Naturally coloured Australian Alpaca - not dyed.
Measurements: Circumference approximately 50cm. Width approximately 17cm.
Care Instructions: Warm hand wash with a suitable wool detergent or mild soap. Rinse in warm water. Dry flat in shade. Dry cleanable. Cool iron if needed.
Alpaca garments do not need to be washed regularly as they are naturally stain, odour and wrinkle resistant. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, bleach or wring/twist.
