This handmade ceramic bowl is an exploration of two materials combined in a one-of-a-kind piece, crafted in the spirit of wabi sabi.
The imperfect shape is mirrored with the hand-knitted copper wire highlighting the organic character of handmade work. Its warm, earthy unglazed (outside) clay body features natural speckling and subtle textural variations.
This piece challenges conventional notions of ceramic symmetry and perfection, offering instead an expressive and intuitive engagement with materials and form.
