These earrings have a white enamel base. Once the white base has been fired and cooled I’ve added a beautiful blue floral decal , letting it dry overnight. One dried the decal is fired in my till until it is fused to the base enamel
Decals are very finicky things and can easily burn a become an awful mess.
The kiln temperature must be lowered to just below 700 degrees to achieve a perfect firing.
Once fired and cooled I file the edges to remove any fire scale and then buff until smooth and shiny.
The ear hooks are made from Argentium silver
Argentium silver is hypoallergenic and low tarnish
Argentium is certified 100% recycled.
*Each earring measures 2.2cm in diameter
*The total drop length of the earrings are 3cm long from the top of the ear hook to the bottom earring
