Hi! I'm Tracey and with my husband Bernie we create Wilder Isle Ceramics from our happy old island home on Straddie/Minjerribah. We love working with clay - all kinds. Raw raku clay bodies, fine white clays and slips are all in our kit. The island landscape and seascape, flora and fauna are our inspiration. Hand building small sculptural pieces like turtles, octopuses, whales and dugongs is a passion. We also cast some of our favourite critters and shells, and make functional ware like bowls, platters, spoon rests and dishes with an island vibe.
