Hi, My name is Nic and the owner of Nic's Handmade Crochet. 

I am excited to be a part of the Madeit community of Australian Artisans

I am a retired Nurse/Midwife and a self taught crocheter.

My crochet journey began as a Hobby and as a way to have some downtime from the busyness of on-call shift work.

I started making gifts such as toys and blankets for the Women and Babies I attended at birth.

My love of hand making items and appreciation of yarn has continued to this day.

All my Handmade Crochet items are made by me in my smoke free/pet free home in Sydney. I make a variety of Summer and Winter clothing; items such as Halter tops, Poncho's, Cardigans,  Gloves, Beanies, Toys, and Blankets. My goal is to provide an eclectic mix of my crochet products.

On occasion, I sell my items at Markets.

I like to support Australian Yarn businesses and Pattern Designers where possible. My preference is to use natural fibres such as wool, cotton and bamboo when I can source them.
