Hello, I’m Marion and I can turn your photos into a hand-painted portrait of your pet, ready to hang on your wall.

Before you order!

Hand-made takes time! Please email marionmadeart@gmail.com to find out the wait time before you order. If there is no wait list, I need about 3 weeks to get your portrait to your door. Once you have placed your order, I will confirm the current wait time. What happens if you don't like the finished painting? You will be sent a digital proof for your approval before I ship. You are free to opt out at the digital proof stage and receive a full refund. Once I have your approval, I will post the painting to you.

Sending photos of your pet

I use your photos as reference, so once you have finalised your order please contact me using the ‘Ask a Question’ tab with the following information;

· your order number

· photographs of your pet

· your phone number if you are open to a quick chat about your pet. If not, include any extra information in your message.

For the best results I look for images with these qualities:

· pictures taken at the animal’s eye level (not from above or below)

· clear and in-focus, especially the head, eyes and nose

· whole animal from head to tail

· sitting or lying down

I like to have time to sit with your pictures and think about the best way to approach each portrait. If I think the reference you have sent is not suitable, I will contact you to discuss options.

Ready to hang

A3 (297x420mm) pet portraits are painted in acrylic on reused cardboard and mounted on thin edge wood panel, ready to hang.

I’ll send you a digital proof of the painting for your approval prior to shipping.

Maker policy

Time required TBC

1. I will confirm wait time with you before I begin
2. You will receive a digital proof when the painting is finished (allow 1-2 weeks)
3. The painting is shipped to you after you approve the digital proof
4. Allow 7 days for delivery by Australia Post

I will have a waitlist so I will confirm a time frame once I receive your photos. Allow 1-2 weeks for making then a week for delivery once the digital proof has been approved. If the time frame doesn’t suit you, I will refund your order.

Refund & exchange

5.     What happens if you don't like the finished painting? You will be sent a digital proof for your approval before I ship. It is difficult to visualise a painting that hasn’t been done yet. I want you to be happy with your painting so I will send you a digital proof of the finished artwork with a request for your approval before I send the actual painting. You are free to opt out at the digital proof stage and receive a full refund. Once I have your approval, I will post the painting to you. 

6.     If something isn't right please contact me first within 7 days. If a refund is arranged the painting will need to be returned in its original condition within 7 days for a full refund less shipping. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.

·      Tracking details will be provided at the time of shipping. This allows both parties to track the parcel and ensure it gets to you. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide accurate shipping details at the time of purchase.
