Welcome to M Decor Botanica – a colourful little world of handmade flowers, slow-crafted with love in Tropical North Queensland, Australia. Using natural fibres and vintage flower looms (just like they did in the vintage craft era of 1960s), I weave cheerful blooms that don’t wilt and always bring joy. Whether it’s a bright pop for your home, a floral stem that never fades, or a one-of-a-kind gift, these fibre florals are made to feel special and spark smiles.

I discovered vintage flower looms back in 2012 and was instantly hooked—there’s something magical about turning yarn and plant-based fibres into layered, lasting blooms. Inspired by retro craft styles and bohemian flair, my work is a little nod to the past with a fresh, fun twist. Each piece is a celebration of texture, colour, and the joy of creating slowly by hand.

Every flower is lovingly made by hand using eco-friendly, plant-based fibres and vintage tools that give them their distinct charm. I use a mix of weaving, layering, stitching and finishing techniques to create floral stems, wall décor, jewellery and ornaments—each one unique, like a real flower, but made to last. I believe in thoughtful making and using materials that are kind to our planet.

Ready to ship in 1 (business days)

Delivery Times: It depends on various factors including the shipping method chosen and your location. Usually 5-10 business days.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY & REFUNDS 'READY-TO-SHIP' (pre-made) items will be dispatched the next business day from the time you complete your order (if there is any delay, e.g. due to public holiday, I will contact you and keep you updated).

'MADE-TO-ORDER' items are items that are not in immediate stock but are made as soon as they are purchased. Items are shipped within 3-7 business days from the time you complete your order (please refer to each product page for more details).

'COMBINED ORDERS'
If you order both ready-made and made-to-order items or made-to-order items with different turn-around times within the same order, the total turn-around time for your order to be dispatched may be up to 7 business days. All items will be grouped together in ONE shipment. If you would like your ready-made items posted the next business day, please ensure you place two separate orders (a shipping fee applies to each order).

'RUSH ORDERS'
If you need your item(s) in a hurry, please do get in touch and let me know the date you require it by. I'll do my best to help you out.

'CUSTOM ORDERS'
I'm happy to create customised versions of existing pieces, or work with you to design a one of a kind item. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or special requests.

SHIPPING

Items are packed with care to ensure they arrive in great condition. They are carefully wrapped and sent to you in a box (please refer to each product page for more details).

ALL ORDERS ARE SHIPPED THROUGH AUSTRALIA POST
Delivery times depend on various factors including the shipping method chosen and your location.

b) Express Post (Parcel Post); tracking included; usually takes 2-4 business days
If you wish to purchase Insurance/Extra Cover, please contact me for a quote prior to finalising your order. LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS IN TRANSIT
Please note I cannot offer compensation for lost or damaged items and any delays once they are lodged with the postal service. Please note a parcel is considered 'lost' in the post until it has been a full 40 days from the date of shipping. REFUNDS & RETURNS & EXCHANGES
I want you to be happy with your purchase. Your satisfaction is the highest priority and I take the utmost care and meticulously inspect each item before shipping. If you have any QUERIES after receiving the item, please contact me as soon as possible (within 7 days after receiving your item) and before returning the item to me. I WILL GLADLY ASSIST YOU IN REPLACING OR REFUNDING THE ITEM IF: a) the item is “faulty” b) and the item is sent back to me in the same (unused) condition as you (the receiver) received it with all original packaging and a receipt/proof of purchase (include a copy of your receipt). Please ensure you also obtain a receipt for proof of postage. I strongly encourage you to return your item via a trackable delivery service as I cannot refund or replace an item until I have received your return. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. Upon receiving and inspecting your return, I will send you an email to notify you of receiving your return and the refund approval/rejection. If you are approved, the refund will be processed through Madeit. Exchange items will not be identical due to the handmade process behind each item, but will be of similar design and material of the item purchased.
Please be aware that the colour of the actual item may slightly differ from what you see on your monitor screen due to native differences in monitor calibration and settings. I will not accept returns on this basis.

Please choose carefully and read item descriptions before making a purchase as NO REFUNDS will be given IF YOU HAVE SIMPLY CHANGED YOUR MIND.
