Hi there, my name is Jill and I am the owner and creator behind Charles & May.

We are an off grid solar powered company based on the Central Coast, NSW. Our soaps are hand crafted in small batches in our log cabin studio using the traditional cold process method, plant based ingredients and colours, herbal botanicals and pure essential oils.

I started making soap in 2019 to help combat my eczema and psoriasis and totally fell in love with the process and creativity of soap making. I choose not to use any ingredients that may cause my skin irritation which is why we do not use micas or synthetic fragrance oils. We are also conscious of sustainability which is why we do not use palm oil and are always assessing our ingredients to ensure we are being mindful of the resources of our environment. Many of our soaps are fragrance free and most are vegan.

We also create a range of beautiful herbal healing oils, bath salts and body scrubs. These herbal oils incorporate the wonderful healing power of plants such as calendula, lavender and rose petals. No only do they help heal the skin but they also work on a spiritual level to reconnect our heart, mind body and soul.

Returns for Change of Mind and Refunds

Due to the personal nature of our body soap bars, returns are not accepted. For other items, returns will be considered so please contact us at charlesandmay204@gmail.com so we can assist with your enquiry. Shipping for returns will be at the buyers expense. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the wrong item so that we can evaluate and correct the issue where required.
