Tell us about your creations and your handmade process.
I create modern crochet bags that are stylish, unique, and full of personality. What makes them special is not just the final look, but the process behind each one. I start with high-quality, durable materials and craft every piece manually, stitch by stitch - there's no machine involved.
The process is slow and intentional. From choosing the colour palette to shaping the base and building the body, it's all done with patience and passion. Sometimes it takes hours, sometimes days - especially for custom-made bags - but I embrace the time it takes because I believe in creating something meaningful and long-lasting.
Tell us a bit about your journey to becoming a handmade artist.
I never imagined I'd become a handmade artist. For most of my life, I didn't consider myself creative. But everything changed when I picked up a crochet hook for the first time, inspired by my friend from Brazil who has a beautiful crochet bag business. What started as a hobby quickly became a deep passion. I remember the joy and pride I felt when I finished my first bag. I realized I had the ability not only to create something with my own hands, but also to express emotion, beauty, and purpose through each piece.
I found something magical: a dream that lights me up and pushes me beyond my comfort zone.
Today, I'm proud to say I'm a handmade artist. And every bag I make is a symbol of that transformation.
What is your inspiration or where do you find inspiration?
My inspiration comes from everyday life, from the people around me, and from the feeling of creating something meaningful with my own hands. I'm especially inspired by women - their strength, individuality, and style. I love designing bags that make someone feel special, confident, and seen.
Where did you learn your craft?
I learned crochet thanks to a dear friend of mine, who has a crochet bag business back in Brazil. She inspired me to give it a try, and I instantly fell in love with the process. I started by watching online tutorials, practicing a lot, and slowly building my confidence stitch by stitch.
Why is handmade artistry so important to you?
In a world where everything feels rushed and mass-produced, handmade work is a beautiful reminder to slow down and appreciate the process. It connects people. It values the human behind the product. And for me personally, it's been a way to discover creativity I didn't know I had and turn it into something real.
