Wheel-thrown ceramic pestle and mortar set in speckled midfire stoneware, finished with soft coastal glazes that lap around the rim like tide lines.

Both the bowl and pestle are wheel-thrown, giving each set a natural weight, balance and fit that feels right in the hand. The speckled stoneware shows flashes of iron and bloom, adding warmth and depth beneath the glaze.
