Ceramic Butter Keeper - Sea Garden

Keep your butter soft, ready, and actually nice to look at with a handmade butter keeper designed for daily use.

Wheel-thrown in speckled stoneware, finished with a copper wash and layered with a white opal pearlescent glaze. The result is soft, shifting tones that move between mineral green, grey and warm copper depending on the light.

The lid is hand-carved with a flowing pattern, catching the glaze and creating subtle variation across the surface. It sits neatly into the base for a clean, practical, organic fit.

How it works

Pack softened butter into the bell in the lid and add a small amount of water to the base. This creates a seal that keeps just the right amount of butter fresh and on the bench ready to use without refrigeration.
