Wheel-thrown pestle and mortar sets in speckled midfire stoneware, finished with a rockpool green and blue glaze

Both the bowl and pestle are wheel-thrown, giving each set a natural weight, balance and fit that feels right in the hand. The speckled stoneware shows flashes of iron and bloom, adding warmth and depth beneath the glaze.
