Macrame bracelet made with 1.5mm waxed polyester cording in the colour Black, with 8mm sized beads . This beautiful bracelet holds three different crystals: Lapis Lazuli, Amethyst and Rose Quartz.
I dedicate this bracelet to the Slavic goddess Lada. In Slavic mythology, Lada is the goddess of Spring, love and beauty; she is also associated with love and fertility in both humans and animals. She is said to return from the underworld every year at the Vernal Equinox, bringing the spring with her. Very similar to Persephone. In mythology her name means peace, union, and harmony. Lada creates harmony within the household and in marriages; She blesses unions of love with peace and goodwill. This colour pattern was one of the first pieces that I made when I began experimenting with macrame knotwork. I've always felt like this was an incredibly gentle combination; not only because of the crystals used, as well as their properties, but the way the colours just worked together. And here's a funny accident: I've observed that it is actually very flattering on a lot of skin tones too! May this bracelet bring gentleness into your life as well.
